Welcome to Smile Surfers
Your pediatric dentists in Sumner and Richland, WA.
Let us personally welcome you to Smile Surfers in Richland and Sumner, WA. It has been said, “there are a million ways to surf, and as long as you’re smiling, you’re doing it right.” For us, seeing your kiddo smile is like catching the perfect wave; there’s nothing more important to us. At Smile Surfers, we believe every child should LOVE going to the dentist while inspiring them to have healthy habits for their smiles and well-being.
We strive to make your child’s experience a positive and fun one. Developing a personal connection with your little surfer is huge to us. If your child leaves with a big smile, we know we’ve done our job.
Inspiring your kiddos to take positive action towards their oral and overall wellness is crucial to our pediatric dentists. We’re sensitive to your needs and the needs of your child so you’re equipped to make confident decisions.
From start to finish, our staff (Surf Instructors) help your child feel confident and successful throughout the entire visit. Everything is always focused on your child, and we encourage parents to accompany their children’s appointments.
We believe in preventative dental care, guiding your child to healthy and brighter smiles.
We treat only children from ages 1 to 18. The AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentists) does advise kids establish a dental home by age 1.
From sealants to cleanings, we protect your child’s teeth, keeping them healthy and cavity-free.
We have been so incredibly happy with our care at Smile Surfers. Thorough and quick cleanings, which is nice when you have multiple kids being seen. I’m sure this staff sees a lot of kiddos, but they always remember us, and that makes our visits even better! I am super impressed with all of the precautions they are taking during this time.

I will shout from the rooftops my recommendation for Smile Surfers Kids Dentistry. My son is five and has severe autism and is non-verbal. Dr. Collette performed the exam while my son sat on the bench instead of the dental chair. I was amazed at how wonderfully aware they were of his needs. Every child, with or without special needs, should have the ease and comfort of the dental experience like we had today.

My kids LOVE coming here!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I don’t tell my kids we are going because they will ask me ALL DAY long when we are going. This is the first place I have taken my kids to and we will always come back.
